Honor your Husband...Update!

Well, we are well into another week, and I think I'm doing ok on my goals. With the cyclists here last night, Warren was at church until almost midnight, and then left again around 6:00 am. He enjoys talking with people, and if anyone asks him any theological question, he loves to talk about it!! Then in the morning, he went to prepare breakfast for the young people. We didn't see much of him, but I was ok with it! I wasn't upset or cranky that he was gone. I understood. These young people are doing a lot right now, and just having time to talk with someone meant a lot to them. Oh, and how they loved his meals!!! (Go to Allison's blog and you can read all about it...you'd think they never eat!) But I think I was supportive and loving. He also took part of today off to catch up on some sleep, and to spend time with the kiddos and I. He watched the kids so I could go to the adult lap swim at the pool...I was able to swim an entire mile!!! He usually goes, but he encouraged me to take a turn today, thanks honey!!!
I am praying for him, and trying to greet him at the door. I also have a ton of fruit for snacks. We spent time together this afternoon while the children were resting, and it was nice to be with him...I almost forget what it's like to be with just him! There are so many things that we give our attention to during normal day, it was nice to be with him. I REALLY LOVE YOU!!! (just in case Warren reads this! :o))
Well, that's an update for now. I took some pics of the kiddos playing ball. Andrew finished his last T-ball game today, and Abbigail has 2 more games. I'll try to post the pics tomorrow.
For now...I'm off to dreamland...ZZZZZZZzzzzzzzz............Nighty night.

Thanks for stopping by my site today.
I like your countdown idea too!
I just love that you are actively working on honoring your husband. It's a great reminder to me. I think it's so easy to get caught up in my day being home with the kids that I forget that he's had a stressful, busy day as well.
Thanks for the reminder!

I am glad that you had some time with your hubby after such a busy schedule for him. It is wonderful though that he did take the time for the young people.
Thank you so much for sharing your progress this week.
Blessings to you and yours.
